Job Title: Systems Analyst/ DevOps Engineer

𝗟𝗼𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻: Sydney, Australia

Salary Range:  AUD 90,000 to 100,000

𝗝𝗼𝗯 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀:

 • Assist in planning and executing migration of current deployments to containers

 • Implement automation tools to streamline tasks, scale infrastructure, and enable seamless deployments

 • Work towards zero-downtime deployments during office hours

 • Ensure application reliability, availability, and performance

 • Minimize downtime and optimize response times

 • Manage deployment pipelines and configuration management for consistent and reliable deployments

 • Collaborate with Development, QA, DevOps, and Product teams to align on reliability goals and incident response processes

𝗥𝗲𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝗦𝗸𝗶𝗹𝗹𝘀 & 𝗘𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲:

 • Experience with Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS)

 • Nice to have: Experience with Azure Container Apps (ACA)

 • Strong knowledge of development technologies, architectures, and platforms (Web & API)

 • Experience with Azure cloud platforms (including Cloud Networking & Security)

 • Strong troubleshooting skills for complex technical issues

 • Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, PowerShell)

 • Experience with automation tools such as Terraform

 • Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Azure DevOps)

 • Linux experience

 • Strong ownership mindset towards engineering and product outcomes

 • Excellent interpersonal communication, negotiation, and influencing skills

 • Strong communication skills for training, mentoring, and handover
